Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Product Manager to work in our small kitchen appliance marketing department. This person will share in the responsibility of driving growth and generating revenue while partnering with various teams to deliver best-in-class new products.

 Responsibilities:

 

  • Build new product concepts and plans through design, validation, planning, development and launch strategies
  • Bring products to market utilizing market research, product research, product testing, pricing analysis, competitive analysis and timeline management
  • Regularly liaise with Engineering, Test Kitchen, Planning, Manufacturing, Operations, Creative and Sales
  • Handle time sensitive responsibilities and communications in a timely and professional manner
  • Set-up new product information in SAP, Salsify and other systems
  • Initiate, manage and track creative process to develop packaging and instructional materials
  • Responsible for existing product line maintenance
  • Partner with Consumer Insights team to compile and document research & competitive analysis for existing products and categories
  • Monitor existing product sales, inventory and forecasting
  • Collaborate with Asia remotely and, if opportunity presents, in-person focusing on product maintenance and new product development
  • Assist with general department assignments and trade-show preparation
  • Act as marketing liaison for 2-3 customer accounts
  • Contribute to the success of company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree in Marketing or related field with 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Product Management and New Product Development experience preferably in Small Kitchen Appliances
  • The ability to bring new and fresh thinking to help Cuisinart drive new product growth
  • Must possess strong analytical skills, be highly detailed-oriented and provide unprompted follow-through
  • Must be accountable and organized with the ability to handle and prioritize a multitude of projects
  • Strong oral and written communication and excellent computer skills
  • Must be flexible, determined, a team player and possess a positive attitude
  • Expert ability level in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, SAP a plus

 Environmental Factors:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business 10%.
  • Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.
  • We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the Stamford office 50% of time.
