Position Summary:
The Sales Enablement Coordinator is a new administrative role based in Stamford, CT, created to fill a critical gap within the sales organization. This position frees the sales team to sell by owning day-to-day order management, issue resolution, and internal coordination. The Coordinator produces weekly performance dashboards, maintains account records, prepares account review and buyer-facing materials, and establishes SLAs and escalation paths across internal partners. The role also plays a key part in supporting sales teams through account conversions tied to the company re-brand, ensuring continuity with customers and brokers during the transition.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting & Sales Performance Dashboards
- Build and distribute weekly sales dashboards covering shipments, POS, and pipeline by account.
- Track sales performance against targets and surface insights, trends, and action items for the sales team.
- Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, and IT/BI to validate data sources and standardize reporting.
Data & Account Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date account records, customer contacts, and activity logs.
- Own the integrity of pricing, promo, item, and contact data used for reporting and customer-facing materials.
Account Review & Buyer-Facing Materials
- Prepare QBR decks, buyer presentations, and promotional recaps in partnership with account managers.
- Coordinate category review deadlines, new item set-up forms, and customer-specific deliverables.
Order Management, Issue Resolution & SLAs
- Manage day-to-day order flow, triage issues, and resolve customer requests to free sales team to sell.
- Establish and maintain service level agreements and escalation paths, including response-time standards for orders, reporting, and internal asks.
- Support the broker transition by serving as a central point of contact for onboarding, communications, and ongoing coordination.
- Support sales teams through account conversions tied to the re-brand, ensuring continuity of orders, item data, and customer communication during the transition.
Qualifications/skills:
- 3+ years of experience in sales operations, sales support, customer service, or a related administrative role, ideally within CPG or food & beverage.
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic data modeling) and strong PowerPoint skills for QBR and buyer decks.
- Experience working with shipment, POS (e.g., Nielsen, Circana/IRI, or retailer portals), and pipeline data a strong plus.
- Proven ability to manage order flow and resolve issues across internal partners (Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance) and external brokers and customers.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication and the ability to set and hold SLAs.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and supporting teams through change, including account conversions tied to a re-brand.
- Experience with CRM/ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite) preferred.
Environmental Factors:
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
- This role requires on-site presence in our Stamford CT location.
