Position Summary:

The Social Media Associate works to support the Conair social media channels providing engagement, Q &A and customer inquiries, and assists with PIM (Product Information Management) content, asset management and coordinates influencer PR and outreach to influencers. Also Assists with posting and editing on all social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest and TikTok as well as in social media planning and collecting assets, including managing approval processes.  Supports other digital marketing areas as needed.


  • Supports social media channels including answering comments and messages from social media
  • Social media PR, including strategy, list management, outreach, follow-up, and sending products/PR to influencers
  • Aids in managing relationships with influencers for paid and unpaid opportunities
  • Assisting and coordinating in social media planning
  • Assist with managing assets for social media and marketing including the posting of social media assets
  • Assisting with administering products on the web site, and other syndicated channels (Salsify/Syndigo)
  • Assist with updating Social Media shopping channels
  • Assist with tracking and social reporting and scheduling
  • Additional support functions within the digital marketing team

 Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience managing social media content on multiple channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Amazon Posts, Shorts, YouTube SnapChat and Pinterest.
  • Experience managing and responding to social media customer inquiries, and managing feeds of inbound customer care and outreach.
  • Experience managing Social Media Storefronts including Facebook and Pinterest, and or external social-driven shopping feets.
  • Experience using a social media planner (Hootsuite, Planoly, Loomly, etc.).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, and assisting with or creating slide-show presentation decks.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and any digital design experience a plus.

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (% if needed)
  • Must be Covid-19 vaccinated
  • We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the Stamford office 50% of time
