Our Stamford, CT based Marketing and Operations team offers an energetic, collaborative, and fun working environment.  As a Sales Operations Analyst, our new team member will play an important role in several key initiatives related to the planning of our business and supply chain.


  • Generate baseline forecasts for all Waring's SKU’s within multiple channels to reflect insightful analyses of historical sales patterns. Must maintain high level of accuracy and utilize advanced analytical & statistical skills.
  • Develop reports and tools to assist with executing demand and inventory plans that enable the company to meet sales and service objectives while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
  • Play a vital role in the S&OP process. Facilitate collaborative monthly forecast and supply meetings with Sales, Marketing and Planning teams to review the baseline demand plan and identify supply constraints.
  • Collaborate on day-to-day business requirements with sales, production planning and operations to achieve inventory turn goals and sales budget.
  • Create effective channels of communication with external and internal account contacts. Consult with these contacts as needed to verify accuracy of data, future strategies, and current state.
  • Work with logistics team to identify and expedite incoming shipments. Monitor and communicate stock outages and arrival estimates to sales and marketing teams.
  • Provide ad hoc business analyses as needed.
  • Assist with financial planning when necessary.

  • Essential Qualifications:
    Bachelors’ degree in business, marketing or related field.
  • Superior excel skills, experience using SAP, BI, IBP and knowledge of S&OP practices.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a sales analytics, forecasting, or business analytics role.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well with multifunctional groups/people and coordinate the completion of tasks.
  • Strong data evaluation skills – with the ability to extract and interpret data from various sources and transform it into insights and recommendations.
  • Candidate should be data driven, passionate about delivering exceptional customer experience and comfortable working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
  • Comfortable analyzing and making sense of large amounts of information to identify key considerations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to handle multiple and competing priorities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in a consumer or commercial goods company a plus.

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
  • Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.
  • We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the Stamford office 50% of time.
