Position Summary:

We are looking for a Payroll Coordinator to process payroll transactions in our company. Payroll coordinator responsibilities include processing timesheets, updating payroll records and answering employee questions. Ultimately, you’ll ensure employees are compensated correctly and on time

Responsibilities:

  • Process attendance records and other documents (e.g. tax forms and direct deposit)
  • Check payroll information for accuracy and ensure all relevant paperwork is in order
  • Coordinate with HR about changes in payroll (e.g. terminations and new hires)
  • Handling misc wage adjustments
  • Process other financial compensations (e.g. annual bonuses and severance pay)
  • Handle payments for paid leave
  • Produce reports to upper management upon request
  • Answer employee questions
  • Work with authorities (e.g. IRS) on audits or requests

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a payroll coordinator or similar role
  • Knowledge of legislation relevant to payroll (e.g. FLSA)
  • Working knowledge of payroll systems (ADP Vantage and Vantage Time strongly preferred)
  • Proficient in Excel (e.g. formulas and vlookup)
  • An analytical mind with good math skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • 5+ years of experience processing 1,000+ employees

Environmental Factors:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (% if needed)
  • Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.
  • We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the office 50% of time.
