Position Summary:

The Director of Analytics position reports to the Chief Digital Officer and works closely with members from the senior and executive level team. The Director of Analytics executive is responsible for overall reporting, data science, identifying incremental opportunities in the marketplace, positioning and market trend identification for all divisions including personal care, health and beauty, grooming tools, cookware, and kitchen electrics.   This position will also help inform our go-to-market strategy.  The role requires multi- strategic planning capabilities, approached with a multi-channel/multi-brand, customer “centric” mind-set. With responsibility of the digital ad budget, you work daily with our ad agencies in all channels of digital advertising.


  • Works closely with the buyers to set retail/e-retail promotional/ pricing strategies and executes tactical campaigns to generate demand across channels. 
  • Manages all aspects of digital, direct marketing and analytics.
  • SEM, SEO, Email, Affiliate, Retargeting, Personalization, PLA’s, UI and UX optimization.
  • Partners with the creative department in implementing strategy and day-to-day tasks. 
  • Directly manages a team of 3-4 team members in merch/digital marketing.
  • Drives the development of customer acquisition and retention programs
  • Builds and manages strategic and tactical relationships with advertisers and partner agencies
  • Brand ownership – manages adherence to global brand guidelines 
  • Uses industry and demographic trends and analytic tools (Google Analytics, Domo, etc.) to lead in the development of online and offline marketing programs.

Essential Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in business / marketing required, Masters preferred but not required
  • 5 to 7 years marketing experience preferred
  • 3 to 5 years (Manager) or 5-7 years (Director) of eCommerce and digital direct online marketing experience with extensive knowledge in analytics and conversion optimization
  • Must be a dynamic, forward thinking marketing professional with an exceptional track in a multi-channel, consumer facing business, preferably specialty retail; or with an IR 500 company
  • Proven ability to drive growth and market share in a competitive industry / category 
  • Previous ownership of marketing and media budgets 
  • Experience managing ad partner agency relationships  
  • Experience with multiple lifestyle demographics preferred 
  • Proven ability to lead a high performing team 
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills 
  • Experience working with and configuring Salesforce Commerce Cloud preferred
  • Ability to work across various Commerce, Reporting, and Fulfillment systems

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (% if needed)
  • Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.
  • We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the office 50% of time.
