Position Summary:

The Director of Finance, Personal Care Appliances (PCA) is the lead financial business partner to the PCA business.  This position reports directly to the VP of FP&A with a dotted line to the General Manager of the PCA business.  This role is responsible for Financial Planning & Analysis, performance management and decision support within the PCA Business Unit. 


  • Develop accurate assessment of monthly results and provide robust data & analytics to drive performance management.
  • Own the budgeting and forecasting processes for the PCA business unit
  • Lead insightful, fact based decision-making through objective analysis and knowledge of our consumers and customers within the PCA team
  • Provide an unbiased view of business risks and opportunities and evaluate trade-offs considering both short term and long term business targets.
  • Responsible for managing and developing direct report/s
  • Review performance versus plans and understand variances to ensure appropriate actionable interventions to accelerate results or address issues.
  • Lead development of robust business cases to accelerate profitable growth through evaluating alternatives, key assumptions and ensure plans are aligned with relevant strategies.
  • Ensure various areas of investment are being optimized and managed
  • Provide oversight monthly assessment and accrual process supported by North America control team.
  • Implement continuous improvement principles and simplification to improve financial/business processes and controls in collaboration with global finance team.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • MBA in Finance preferred

Environmental Factors

  • Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.
  • We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the Stamford office 50% of time.
