The Manager, Sales Analytics – Amazon Ecommerce will play a key role in driving actionable insights through data analysis to support the company’s Ecommerce sales growth and strategy. This individual will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on Ecommerce sales performance, as well as identifying opportunities for optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, experience in Ecommerce sales data, and a passion for utilizing data to improve business outcomes.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sales Data Analysis and Reporting: 
    • Monitor and analyze Ecommerce sales data, trends, and KPIs to identify performance patterns and insights.
    • Develop and maintain regular sales performance reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
    • Assist Category Management team in creating forecasts, sales projections, and tracking metrics to monitor progress toward business goals.
  2. Campaign and Performance Optimization: 
    • Provide data-driven insights to support marketing and sales initiatives, including pricing, promotions, and product launches.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to optimize sales channels and product offerings based on data analysis.
    • Help identify areas for improvement to increase conversion rates, reduce churn, and optimize the customer journey.
  3. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: 
    • Collaborate with Ecommerce, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment on sales performance and strategy.
    • Support sales leadership by providing analysis on campaign performance and sales trends.
    • Work with IT and business intelligence teams to ensure data accuracy and reliability across Ecommerce platforms.
  4. Customer and Market Insights: 
    • Analyze customer purchasing behavior, sales trends, and competitor performance to provide actionable recommendations.
    • Develop customer segmentation models and support targeting strategies to improve personalization and sales.
    • Track customer lifetime value and retention rates to inform long-term sales strategies.
  5. Ad-hoc Analysis and Strategic Support: 
    • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support business decision-making and identify new growth opportunities.
    • Provide recommendations for strategic adjustments based on performance analysis and industry trends.
    • Assist in evaluating new Ecommerce tools, platforms, and technologies that can enhance sales performance.
  6. Process Improvement and Automation: 
    • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve data management efficiency.
    • Support the implementation of new analytics tools and systems to improve data accuracy and reporting speed.
Qualifications: 
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 
  • Experience in sales analytics, business intelligence, or Ecommerce analytics.
  • Experience with Ecommerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and sales data tools.
  • Experience with syndicated data measures and software (e.g. Circana, Nielsen) and customer analytics tools (e.g. Luminate, Stackline).
  • Skills: 
    • Strong proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI).
    • Familiarity with Ecommerce metrics (e.g., ACOS, ROAS, conversion rates, and customer acquisition cost (CAC)).
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Mindset: 
    • Detail-oriented, results-driven, and able to work with large datasets.
    • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Environmental Factors: 
  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (% if needed)
