 Position Summary:

Using consumer insights to drive business decisions and impact the bottom line for product development, communications, concept design and to impact retail sales.


  • Be an analyst for syndicated data feeds from NPD and other platforms providing ongoing reporting and well-constructed and thoughtful executive summaries
  • Educate marketing on best practices on the use and application of market research
  • Track relevant consumer trends and share out with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with home field testing and research results with Survey Monkey
  • On a regular basis track and distribute relevant trends and insights to support upcoming product launches and business decisions
  • Provide support for primary research projects for product concepting and brand health
  • Use multiple insights and syndicated data platforms to inform business decision for all stake holders
  • Leverage strong storytelling skills to develop impactful reporting and output to various departments and ultimately drive action across product categories
  • Provide research support to the sales team to inform and grow our business with retail partners
  • Interact with external agency partners

Essential Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience supporting a strategic business unit with the use of market research to analyze, story tell and guide with the use of quantitative or qualitative market research techniques.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Research, Marketing, Business or Communications
  • 10 years’ experience in market research with a CPG background highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Exemplary Communication and collaboration skills
  • Proven ability to interpret data, tell a story, and provide actionable insights for all stakeholders
  • Proficiency in navigating syndicated data platforms
  • Experience with Online Survey Tools (e.g. SurveyMonkey)
  • Success in using data visualization tools (Tableau, Domo, etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Tools (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

 Environmental Factors:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to travel domestically for business up to 15% of time.
