Responsibilities:

Develop and manage a highly productive sales team, in order to maximize our business in the US territory via the execution of all company programs at the account level. Meet sales goals as well as achieve business objectives within a given budget.

  • Develop, direct, and oversee appropriate sales strategy to maximize the possibilities of meeting and/or exceeding the company’s objectives.
  • Manage sell-through to ensure that the company achieves its goals, taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Develop sales goals new products, and promotions; prepare budgets
  • Build strong relationships internally and externally to enable business goals to be achieved.
  • Determine the composition of distribution in terms of account/door openings, closings, improvements, etc
  • Develop sales strategy to ensure brand and launch targets are achieved and brand image is maintained.
  • Analyze results and key KPIs of strategy and report to VP Sales, making changes as necessary.
  • Carry out other tasks and projects as necessary for the achievement of key goals and as directed by VP Sales.
  • Develop sales, allocation, and promotional spending guidelines
  • Assign goals to each team member and supervise the progress towards their achievement.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and strategic agility
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team while developing and growing a business
  • Knowledge of Office Suite skills (Query tools, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to multitask; work with tight deadlines accurately; excellent communicator; strong team player; good organizer; attention to detail; strong leadership skills. Able to work on own initiative but also as part of small team.
  • Strong customer service, negotiation skills and ability to interact with customers at all levels throughout their organization.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management, multi-tasking, strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Creative in brainstorming and proposing new ideas and solutions to existing problems.
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends

Environmental Factors:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (50% if needed)
  • Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.
  • We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the Stamford office 50% of time.
