We are looking for a Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

• Use of truck, tractor, sweeper
• Overall equipment maintenance to include HVAC systems
• Perform all work in accordance with Lock-Out/Tag-Out orders and assist with safety procedures
• Perform preventative maintenance on a regular schedule
• Manage all electrical needs throughout the plant from 120 volts to 480 – three phase machinery
• Involvement with ISO9001 quality standards and electrical test equipment, along with test equipment calibration requirements
• Work with vendors and online order for purchase of machine parts and janitorial supplies
• Basic carpentry and plumbing skills to assist with keeping facility running smoothly
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience as a mechanic/electrician in a manufacturing environment
• High School diploma or GED, technical school preferred
• Basic carpentry and plumbing skills
• Ability to operate power tools, forklifts, pallet jacks, work off stepladders, lift, push or pull 75 pounds
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of ISO9001 quality standards and electrical test equipment helpful
• Must be able to work with high degree of safety, urgency and quality
• Basic computer skills, email, and order products on-line. Microsoft Office preferred
• Attention to detail, flexibility, job knowledge
• Good listening and communication skills
