The Conair Summer Internship Program is designed to provide exceptional students with a unique opportunity to learn firsthand about the diverse business operations at Conair. Those selected will gain invaluable work experience through challenging project assignments and on the job learning experiences.
Position Summary:
The Social Media Content Intern will support the Waring Marketing team by helping organize, manage, and activate digital and social media content across key platforms. This role will focus on content organization within Bynder (DAM) and Salsify (PIM), as well as assisting with the planning and execution of the Summer & Fall 2026 social media content calendar. The intern will work cross‑functionally with Marketing and Creative partners to ensure content is accurate, accessible, and aligned with brand priorities. This is a hands‑on opportunity to gain real‑world experience in brand marketing, content operations, and social media planning within a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Waring is a leading commercial kitchen equipment manufacturer, serving professional kitchens and culinary environments around the world. As a primarily B2B brand, our content strategy is centered on building long‑term brand loyalty by connecting directly with our end‑user chefs and foodservice professionals. Much of our existing content is educational in nature, highlighting product performance, usage, and real‑world applications in professional kitchens. Our social media efforts aim to balance this educational foundation with engaging, brand‑forward storytelling that strengthens relationships with our audience and brings the Waring brand to life across platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Support the organization, tagging, and maintenance of digital assets within Bynder, ensuring content is easy to locate and properly categorized
- Assist with content updates and product information management in Salsify, partnering with internal teams to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Help manage and maintain the Summer 2026 social media content calendar, including tracking content needs, deadlines, and approvals
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing and Creative teams to coordinate content delivery and timelines
- Support the preparation of social media content, including organizing assets, captions, and platform requirements
- Assist with content audits and help identify gaps or opportunities within existing content libraries
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to support seasonal campaigns and social media initiatives
- Provide general marketing support as needed, gaining exposure to brand strategy, content planning, and execution
To Qualify/Apply:
- You should be a current college student, entering your junior or senior year in the fall of 2026.
- The internship program will run from June 1, 2026, through August 7, 2026. Interns will work Monday through Friday on a 37.5-hour work week schedule, which includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.
- We require candidates to maintain excellent academic standing.
- Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, is a must.
- As part of our hybrid work model, interns are expected to be present in the office 4 days a week with Friday being a work from anywhere day. Please note that Conair does not provide housing for summer interns.
- Compensation for all internship positions is set at $25 per hour, and the internship is based out of our Stamford, CT corporate office location.

Environmental Factors:
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
- We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the office 4 days a week with Friday being a work from anywhere day.
