The Demand Planning Analyst is responsible for developing accurate forecasts that align demand and supply across the business. This role builds and maintains forecasting models by integrating insights from Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other key stakeholders to ensure the organization can effectively meet customer and product needs.
As a central partner to the commercial organization, the Demand Planning Analyst leads monthly demand reviews to drive consensus, highlight risks and opportunities, and support informed business decisions.
What You’ll Do:
Forecasting & Analysis
  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts across multiple time horizons and product/customer levels to support both operational and strategic planning.
  • Analyze historical sales trends, evaluate statistical forecast outputs, and identify key demand drivers to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Build, refine, and enhance statistical forecasting models by incorporating business intelligence and changing market conditions.
 
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Act as the primary integration point for Sales, Marketing, and Finance to gather inputs and validate forecast assumptions.
  • Lead monthly demand review meetings with top customers and internal commercial teams, challenging assumptions and building consensus demand plans.
  • Present insights during divisional leadership demand reviews and finalize the consensus forecast.
  • Investigate significant forecast variances and adjust models based on updated insights and market research.
  
Systems & Process Management
  • Utilize and maintain the IBP Demand Planning system as the core forecasting platform, ensuring accurate data and model integrity.
  • Provide demand signals and insights to Supply Planning to support inventory strategies for existing products, new launches, and product discontinuations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, data governance standards, and company policies.
 
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to enhance forecast accuracy and drive process improvements across the demand planning workflow.
  • Support cross functional initiatives, system enhancements, and organizational projects that contribute to broader company objectives.
Who You Are:
 
Qualifications: 
Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline required.
2+ years of experience in a supply chain or business analyst role.
 
Skills and Experience: 
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of core Supply Chain concepts and processes.
  • Ability to interpret, evaluate, and synthesize complex datasets to support strategic decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, compelling insights to varied stakeholders.
  • Highly self-driven, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence across all levels of the organization.
 Compensation: 
  • The budgeted salary range for this role is 75-90k/annually based on experience.
    
 
Environmental Factors:  
  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
  • We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the office 4 days a week with Friday being a work from anywhere day.
