Sr. Media Planner/Buyer 


The Senior Media Planner/Buyer will Strategize and execute US paid media across all digital, social, influencer, and print media buys for all Conair products. This role within the Media Department will be responsible for efficiently allocating Digital ad budgets across all paid social media platforms to help drive product sales, and awareness of new product launches. The ideal candidate will identify and evaluate new and emerging advertising channels and collaborate with the team members and the broader marketing team to coordinate all aspects of the media buy.



Influencer Marketing:

  • Identify and evaluate new influencer talent across social platforms (i.e.: TikTok, Instagram) for paid social posts.
  • Manage Influencer talent negotiations – including exclusivity, usage, deliverables, and cost; confer with Marketing and legal teams on final agreements. Create productive and positive relationships with Influencers.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with Influencer agents and agencies as well as direct contact with Influencers when necessary.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and sharpen influencer briefs and guidelines; help facilitate content idea generation to ensure products are natively integrated for brand storytelling.
  • Share creator content with marketing teams, ensuring all FTC and Brand Guidelines are met.
  • Develop and refine measurement frameworks to evaluate potential influencer partnerships and to accurately quantify performance of current influencer portfolio.


Digital Marketing:

  • Work with Marketing and Agency to create digital brand strategies across all paid platforms including SEM, social media (i.e.: TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest), and emerging platforms.
  • Contact for digital agencies, vendors, and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the Creative and Marketing teams throughout the process to help implement engaging creative (video, imagery, display) that’s in line with marketing priorities and KPI’s.
  • Assist in the Implementation of all GTM events & CRM lists for re-targeting, purchase intent, and conversion tactics.
  • Monitor sales for both retail and DTC sites, and optimize campaigns to achieve KPIs.
  • Work with marketing teams to edit and effectively integrate influencer content into native social media buys by way of whitelisting, and/or branded content.


Print Advertising:

  • Research, plan, and buy all B2B and B2C print advertising.
  • Request RFP’s and analyze for planning purposes.
  • Negotiate rates and added value opportunities to maximize exposure.
  • Issue insertion orders and interact with cross-functional teams.



  • Ability to multi-task, negotiate, and continually oversee concurring media campaigns
  • Able to perform well under pressure by efficiently prioritizing tasks and completing multiple items under deadline with a sense of urgency.
  • Analytical understanding of underlying data used to inform decision making that drives performance.
  • Subject matter expert, problem-solver, and detail oriented individual.
  • Ability to share best practices for modern storytelling with brand teams
  • Drive effective communications with Marketing, Creative, and Legal internal teams. Communication should demonstrate forward-thinking program needs.
  • A strong proficiency and clear POV of social media platforms; Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and Pinterest and be capable of developing ideas and tactics that leverage the most influential content creators on each platform to drive quantifiable success.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with team spirited can do attitude
  • Knowledge of Facebook Creative Hub, Amazon Advertising, Pinterest Business Hub, SBMS, TikTok Ads Manager, and Google Analytics a plus.
  • Research experience with MRI/Simmons a plus



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications.
  • 4+ years of experience preferably at a CPG brand and/or agency, beauty industry a plus.
  • Proven track record collaborating with talent, influencers, and creators.
  • Familiar with brand strategy, creative development and multi-channel execution and have executed these at scale to drive business results and brand equity.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful ability to manage complex projects.
  • Marketing background, with a key focus in understanding social media ecosystems.
  • Understanding of SEM, Display, Print, Social, Digital, and Influencer Marketing buys.
  • Lead briefings calls with influencers/Agency, and management of creative partners (in-house or agency).
  • Work with multiple tiers of influencers and supporting programs across multiple digital channels
  • Manage digital media budgets, billing, and invoices.
