Position Summary:

We are looking for an Application Support Analyst who will be responsible for supporting IT processes by leveraging technology to assist end users, achieve business goals, and ensure optimum performance of existing systems.   

Responsibilities:

  1. APPLICATION SUPPORT

 Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Creating tickets in the Support System from calls or emails
  • Assessing tickets and assigning to the appropriate party
  • Tracking tickets through completion and providing updates to the requester as appropriate
  • Completing assigned tickets, if possible, including - but not limited to -technical requests of users
  • Assisting with re-establishing user’s access to SAP and Logistics applications, as well as the Conair network, including re-enabling passwords
  • Assisting outside sales representatives with Remote Access Program
  • Using Microsoft Teams to assist users with defining and correcting problems
  • Assist with preparation of the training materials for SAP and other applications
  1. TRAINING
  • Utilize existent training materials to develop SAP skills among either new employees or selected employee groups
  • Develop materials for newly implemented programs and train therewith
  • Potential for travel to other sites for training.
  1. COLLABORATION
  • Work effectively with IT teams located in US and international sites as there are the first line of contact for user requests. In some cases, those teams create the tickets.

Essential Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years' experience in Application Support of Financial and/or Logistics systems. SAP experience preferred.

  • Knowledge in at least one of the following business application areas – SAP ECC, Logistics Systems, EDI
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good ability to interact with users and coworkers at different levels of the company
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Highly motivated, independent contributor

Environmental Factors:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (% if needed)
  • Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.
  • We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the office 50% of time.
