Position Summary:

The IT Help Desk Associate is responsible for supporting IT processes by leveraging technology to assist end users, achieving business goals, and ensuring optimum performance of existing systems. We are hiring an experienced IT Associate to help provide excellent customer service to our distribution center associates.  This is a temporary full time position (September – December 2022)

Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • First level support of Microsoft Windows PCs/laptops
  • Support Ecommerce users with new devices and peripherals related to the pick to voice operation
  • Install and maintain new hardware and software to support changing business requirements
  • Complete help desk assignments, as necessary, including - but not limited to -technical requests of users
  • Support of hardware such as workstations and peripherals including installation and upgrades.
  • Assist with reconnecting to the AS400, SAP & Network, including re-enabling passwords
  • Use Microsoft Teams to assist users with defining and correcting problems

 

Essential Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in either Help Desk or IT Support Services Experience

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Some knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and SAP applications is a plus

 

Environmental Factors:

  • Working conditions are normal for a distribution center environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
