Position Summary:
The Cuisinart Outdoors Co-op Program is designed to provide exceptional students with a unique opportunity to learn firsthand about the diverse business operations at Cuisinart Outdoors/Conair. Those selected will gain invaluable work experience through challenging project assignments and on the job learning experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally with the product team to help drive development of one or more new product initiatives.
- Assisting product managers and engineers with the product development process from conception to manufacturing.
- Assist in preparation for sales/customer meetings to present new and current products (presentations, competitive info and procure samples, images, packaging comps, all other requests).
- Assist with issuing documentation for new products, product updates, web updates and miscellaneous product collateral including but not limited to spec sheets, vendor set-up forms, web set-ups forms, etc.
- Conducting market research by visiting online marketplace(s) to collect data on a given category of products to support development initiatives.
- Assist with Research requests (product & data), competitive tracking, new technology and current market trends.
- Evaluating performance of new and existing products in our test lab.
Qualifications:
- You should be a current college student, entering your junior or senior year in the fall of 2024.
- We require candidates to maintain excellent academic standing.
- Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, is a must.
- As part of our hybrid work model, interns are expected to be present in the office three days a week.
- Compensation for all Co-op positions is set at up to $25 per hour, and this Co-op position is based out of Newton, MA

- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
