A Day in the Life:

This position, under the direction of a Lead Technical Consultant, implements technical customization for client projects.  Technical customization include designing and implementing solutions that require development using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other coding skills. A Technical Consultant may be client facing by being present during requirements gathering, demo of implemented feature(s), seeking feature feedback, and discussing solutions.

In this role you’ll:

  • Analyze and align the current business process with product capabilities
  • Create and update customer facing documentation
  • Develop declarative solutions using standard salesforce functionality
  • Practice continuous improvement - contributing to the improvement of implementation and service team best practices and processes
  • Balance multiple project or different work activities simultaneously
  • Work in a highly collaborative environment with dedicated teams that include Sr. Consultants, Technical Consultants, Product Owners, Data Specialists, and Scrum Masters

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Understanding of different software development processes, including agile and waterfall
  • Understanding of Salesforce development technologies, including
  • Triggers
  • Batchable Jobs
  • Scheduled Jobs
  • Integrations
  • Visualforce Development
  • Lightning Web Components
  • Understanding of declarative Salesforce capabilities, including
  • Process builder
  • Flow
  • Workflow rules
  • Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL)
  • Database modeling techniques
  • Continuous integration concepts
  • Version control systems, primarily git
  • Salesforce metadata
  • Understanding of Salesforce governor limits, and establishing solutions that consider them
  • Understanding of Salesforce packaging strategies (managed, unmanaged, unlocked), and pros and cons of each

We would be excited if you brought:

  • B.S. in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar field of study or the equivalent experience is acceptable
  • Minimum 2 years of software development experience
