Courtyard by Marriott Dayton Beavercreek is looking for a top-performing Hotel Restaurant or Bistro Supervisor
 
Courtyard by Marriott Dayton Beavercreek is looking for someone with outstanding communication and customer service skills to work alongside our hotel supervisor as the Restaurant Supervisor or Bistro Supervisor. The Hotel Restaurant or Bistro Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the restaurant operations during assigned shifts, which includes scheduling staff and distributing assignments to restaurant employees. As the Hotel Restaurant Supervisor or Bistro Supervisor, you will also be responsible for greeting and serving customers, dealing with client complaints, and assuring compliance with all food and beverage safety rules. 
The Courtyard Dayton Beavercreek is located within a mile of the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Wright State University, and the Nutter Center. We are conveniently located minutes from downtown Dayton and the University of Dayton. Steps away from the Fairfield Commons Mall and just minutes from Central State University, Cedarville College, and the U.S. Air Force Museum.

Some Key Areas of Responsibility for the Hotel Restaurant Supervisor or Bistro Supervisor include:
  • Oversee, train, and schedule restaurant staff in shifts to ensure compliance and boost productivity levels
  • Assign tasks to employees and ensure they are completed effectively and properly
  • Educate the staff on safety guidelines, customer service best practices, and standards for restaurant cleanliness
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner
  • Keep track of inventory and make sure every area is fully stocked by ordering supplies and coordinating product deliveries
  • Cover the duties of crew members who are unable to work their shifts
 
Requirements for the Hotel Restaurant Supervisor or Bistro Supervisor include:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required
  • Previous food service experience with the ability to perform multiple jobs in the restaurant
  • Previous management or supervisory experience is required
  • Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, are strongly desired
