Sign-On Bonus: $1000

Essential Duties:

  • Performs speech/language and developmental assessments by administering and interpreting standardized and non-standardized tests and evaluations. The assessments include individuals' level of development in the five developmental domains: cognitive, communication, physical, adaptive/self-care, and personal-social.
  • Conduct Assistive Technology/Augmentative and Alternative Communication Evaluations/Consultations as assigned. 
  • Participate in family meetings regarding speech-language assessments and services.
  • Maintains written reports, charts, and progress notes related to an individual's speech/language and developmental assessment and consultations.
  • Provide consultation to the Early Start interdisciplinary team regarding interpreting and using test result data.
  • Provide therapy for children 0 to 3, as assigned.
  • Work collaboratively with the Early Start interdisciplinary team to determine appropriate interventions and/or recommendations for children.

 

 

 

Education:

M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology

License:
CA licensure as an SLP and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC)

 

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities as an SLP
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Cantonese desired
