Residential Loan Assistant

Commercial Banking Yakima, Washington


Supports Premiere Banking Residential Loan Manager or Residential Loan Officer in developing, advising, managing and retaining Residential Loan client relationships involving complex borrower/client relationships. Coordinate banking services referrals to: deposit, cash management, investment management and trust services. Responsible for providing outstanding client interactions when collecting client or vendor information, driving loan files to completion in partnership and coordination with Residential Lending Center as well as other centers of influence.

  • Provide forms and updated information to the Loan Officers
  • Working knowledge of mortgage loan pricing and ability to explain differences in mortgage loan products.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience lending to complex borrowers including Private Banking/Commercial Banking clients
  • Proficient in building client relationships
  • Proactive
  • Knowledge of credit structures

  • Works independently on general duties, may need assistance on more complex issues/questions
  • Ability to provide client solutions
  • Knowledge of mortgage industry and associated investor programs including but not limited to: FNMAE; FREDDIE; FHA; VA; USDA; and experience with Portfolio Programs

Physical and Mental Requirements: 

  • Ability to sit at a computer monitor for extended periods of time
  • Ability to perform repetitive finger, hand, and arm movements
  • Ability to lift up to 15lbs.
  • Ability to effectively discern information and formulate appropriate action
  • Ability to reach, squat, bend, and manually manipulate standard office equipment
