About the Role:
The Trust Ops Specialist III (Asset Valuations Lead) has a primary responsibility to review and approve all aspects of the firm’s Private Security and Real Estate valuation activities. Process transactions during times of high volumes. Communicate effectively with clients, authorized third parties, and asset sponsors to resolve discrepancies or follow-up on requests. Adhere strictly to trust regulations and security standards including our customer identification program, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Internal Revenue Code, and all other applicable banking and trust regulation set forth by the IRS and various other regulatory agencies. Acts in a lead capacity to other department staff. Handles work of complex nature.
- Implements projects and work assignments according to departmental goals, objectives, and policies.
- In addition to having the ability to process all tasks of the Specialist II, the Specialist III is familiar with all aspects of trade order, trade placement and trade settlement.
- Process complex activities related to bulk vendor valuations, bulk client valuation notices, and litigation activities.
- Performs a variety of written and verbal communications to ensure satisfactory completion or implementation of projects.
- Provides in-house expertise relation to various projects
- Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and according to the relevant documentation.
- Review team processing activities and approve cash and securities transactions in the trust accounting system related to valuations.
- Assist in training and development of junior staff members.
- Assist Manager in executing day-to-day management responsibilities.
- Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
- Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
- May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

About You:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 5+ Years of related experience required
- Thorough understanding of departmental professional/business goals and how they contribute to the bank’s business objective.
- Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated effective time/project management skills.
- Strong working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software to include Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as accomplish work assignments under minimal supervision and tight deadlines.
- Well-developed analytical and critical reasoning skills.

The pay range for this role is $25.25 to $38, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
