Position at Renaissance Construction Products, a Colony division

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is primarily responsible for ensuring that orders are filled at the branch. The Warehouse Supervisor also ensures that merchandise sold by our sales team or at the branch retail store location(s) is shipped completely and accurately in a timely manner.

A Little About Your Day: You will:
  • Work alongside and lead the operations team, providing coaching, guidance, and mentorship, resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Work with department managers company-wide, including branch management associates, Sales, Purchasing, service and rental, and Operations Management, to ensure warehouse operations are operating in an effective and efficient manner to meet customer needs.
  • Ensure workplace safety is a top priority and guidelines are adhered to.
  • Participate in decisions regarding delivery times, route schedules, and other logistics for delivering the product.
  • Assist in fulfilling special orders that require additional attention and perform stock counts to ensure stock levels are accurate.
  • Maintain an organized and clean warehouse space.
  • Perform picking/pulling, shipping/receiving, and put away duties for product coming in to or leaving out of the branch.
  • Prepare and process UPS and freight bills for outbound shipment, ensuring they are paid and charged to the customer if applicable.

What You’ll Need for success:
  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • College degree in related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ management/supervisory/lead experience in a Distribution environment responsible for warehouse/driver management.
  • Prior experience with managing deliveries and dispatching, route management, etc. preferred.
  • Prior forklift and other heavy equipment experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
