Repertoire is looking for an accomplished, creative and independent Scientist ll /Senior Scientist, Immunology, who will be reporting to Director Immunology and joining the Platform Discovery Team, assuming a key role in driving screening strategy and execution of programs towards identifying potential therapeutic leads of Repertoire proprietary immune medicines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and validate immunological assays to interrogate T cell repertoires and measure antigen/TCR interactions in primary human cells
  • Implement methods to perform phenotypic characterization of T cell repertoire
  • Work as a key member of cross-functional Platform Discovery team
  • Maintain and implement good laboratory practices, including accurate laboratory notebook systems, instrument and reagent validation, and personnel safety precautions

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • PhD in immunology
  • 2 plus years post graduate experience in biotech/pharma industry or academia
  • Extensive experience working with human primary T cells is a must
  • In depth experience in flow cytometry
  • Experience in cell sorting
  • In depth experience in developing assays utilizing primary human T cells/tissues
  • Experience in working with tetramers
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Ability to work in a matrixed, fast-paced and quickly changing environment
  • Ability to deliver on key milestones within defined timelines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to lead design of novel cellular assays, as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications or published patents
  • In depth experience in antigen processing and presentation
  • Experience working with dendritic cells
  • Experience with automatizantion is beneficial
  • A strong desire to build game-changing technologies and impact the world of life science research
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working in industry is strongly preferred
  • Experience with preparation of IND packages is strongly preferred
