Objective
The focus of this position is to lead the creation of remarkable video content that aligns with the church’s mission, vision and culture and helps all people discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ. This role provides creative leadership, develops a high-performing video team and partners with ministry leaders to tell compelling stories that advance the mission of The Church of Eleven22®.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an authentic and growing walk with Jesus Christ through the ongoing spiritual disciplines of Bible reading, prayer, personal worship, fasting, confession and fellowship
- Cast vision and provide clarity and purpose for all video projects, ensuring each one reflects the church’s mission, vision and culture
- Provide clear, consistent and timely feedback to the team to hit creative targets
- Proactively coach and disciple team members, developing their creative and technical video skills
- Produce, direct and edit compelling video content that supports the church’s mission
- Collaborate on video concepts with the Creative Team from pre-production through final delivery
- Incorporate new innovation and techniques on a regular basis to keep video content fresh and excellent
- Work alongside the Media Production Manager to coordinate production schedules, resources and budgets to ensure successful delivery of high-quality video projects
- Contribute to the creative planning process and receive feedback with a humble, teachable posture
- Communicate effectively with the Creative Team and ministry areas to keep projects aligned
- Recruit, equip, develop and shepherd a high-performing team of serve staff, fostering spiritual growth, technical excellence and a culture of collaboration, ownership and continuous improvement
- Partner with contractors, freelancers and external vendors to plan and execute video projects, ensuring work meets creative expectations, quality standards, timelines and budget requirements

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in film, Media Production, Communications or a related field preferred
- Five to ten years of professional experience in video production, with a proven track record of producing compelling video content and leading projects from pre-production through post-production
- Experience leading or mentoring creative teams, contractors or serve staff is preferred
Expected Hours of Work
Work Hours Expectations: 40 hours or more.
Schedule Expectations: Monday through Friday (hours may vary based on church needs to include working weekends).
The church has several big events (“All-Skates”) throughout the year to help further the mission of Eleven22. These events are mandatory for all staff to be in attendance and may vary, depending on the vision cast for the current year.

Work Environment/Physical Demands
This position operates in both office and production environments, including indoor and outdoor settings and requires frequent movement between campuses, event venues and filming locations. The role regularly uses computers and professional video production equipment and may occasionally lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and travel as needed is required to support worship services, special events and ministry initiatives.
Ministerial Exception
The ministerial exception furthers the purposes of the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses of the First Amendment by barring legal claims against church bodies by staff members who perform religious functions. All church pastors are subject to the exception, but a formal ministerial credential is not required. While there is no rigid formula to determine other church staff members that qualify, various factors are considered to determine which staff members are subject to the ministerial exception (please see handbook).
