Overview

 

The Corporate Receptionist provides phone coverage for the corporate office and administrative support to all departments as needed. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Answers switchboard, checks operator voice mail, and routes calls to appropriate person.
  • Accepts and journals in packages and distributes faxes and packages to appropriate individuals. 
  • Schedules conference rooms in Outlook calendar. 
  • Special projects as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to multi-task and manage several projects at one time. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality. 

Qualifications (Experience, Education, Licensure, Certification)

  • Community college graduation (or equivalent) in appropriate field.
  • Prefer associates degree.
  • Three (3) years of clerical experience, including organization, coordination, and performance of duties at a responsible level. 
  • Experience with a switchboard system
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.  Experience with PowerPoint preferred

Working Conditions

 

The Corporate Receptionist works in areas that are highly visible and designed and furnished to make a good impression.  Most work stations are clean, well-lighted, and relatively quiet.  Work is primarily sedentary in nature.
