Overview 

 

The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling interviews with qualified candidates, and hiring individuals for the dental center positions. The selected individual will manage all aspects of recruitment functions for the dental centers within his/her assigned region, including but not limited to advertising, open house and trade show recruiting.  

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Recruiting 

       Responsible for the development and implementation of effective recruitment strategies/campaigns to generate candidate leads from various sources such as school partnerships, employment websites, networking, and advertising. 

       Partner with regional managers to forecast dental center needs and plan a recruitment strategy to meet recruitment and operational goals.   

       Conduct pre-screen telephone interviews for dental center and Corporate staff candidates from resume submittals, recruitment telephone line inquiries, employment websites, and various school recruitment sources. Compile information regarding education, experience, training, and salary expectations. Based on the outcome of the pre-screen interviews, recommend the best candidates for an in-person interview in the dental center or Corporate office. Ensure all notes on interviews and job requisitions are documented in the applicant tracking system, UltiPro.  

       Manage candidate pipeline and interview process for each position.  Partner with regional managers to review/analyze interview results, extend formal job offers while adhering to employment law and company policies.   

       Report status of open positions and hired employees to regional management on a weekly basis.   

       Evaluate viable candidates in the pipeline for current open positions. Based on needs, submit advertising requests to Receptionist to publish print and online advertising, as needed.  Source candidates on various 

 

job boards, as needed. Consistently research new advertising and networking sources.   

       Utilize social media resources such as LinkedIn to source candidates and build candidate pipeline and network.  

       Conduct professional references on all candidates prior to extending a formal offer of employment. 

       Represent Coast Dental at recruitment events, trade shows, open house, and school presentations. 

       Partner with regional management, training, and human resources departments to ensure a smooth transition and retention of new employees.   

       Strategize and develop new recruitment processes for implementation, as needed.   

       Additional projects and/or responsibilities, as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

 

       Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.  

       Must exercise diplomacy, discretion, sound judgment, and flexibility in varying situations, and must maintain confidentiality. 

       Knowledge of recruitment and human resources policies, procedures, and systems. 

       Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously. 

       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.   

       Excellent organization and time management skills required.   

       Ability to develop alternative solutions to problems; comparing and analyzing data; preparing clear, concise, thorough, meaningful, and grammatically correct written reports, letters, memoranda, and other documents. 

       Ability to independently plan, organize, prioritize, schedule, coordinate, and make decisions relating to assigned tasks and responsibilities. 

       Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems software including, but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 

       Prior experience with applicant tracking systems, preferably UltiPro.  

 

Qualifications (Experience, Education, Licensure, Certification) 

 

       Three (3) to five (5) years of recruitment experience. Staffing agency, healthcare, and/or dental experience preferred. 

       Bachelors degree in business or human resources.  

       PHR preferred. 

 

Working Conditions

 

Recruiters work in areas that are highly visible and designed and furnished to make a good impression.  Most work stations are clean, well lighted, and relatively quiet.  Work is primarily sedentary in nature.
