Here's what you will be doing:
As an intern with 40|86 you will assist analysts in conducting fundamental credit analysis for investment grade bonds, high yield bonds, and bank loans.  Your key responsibilities include detailed financial modeling, monitoring existing investments, assistance in new investment underwriting, and attending credit meetings.


  • Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior standing (with at least one post-internship school semester)
  • Prefer students majoring in finance, accounting, or MBA
  • Strongly prefer students who are pursuing a career in investment banking or investment research
  • Prefer students with exposure to corporate finance/investment through workshops or past internship experience
  • 3.0 GPA or higher required.
  • Intern must provide his/her own housing

This is a paid internship and you can expect to work between forty and forty five hours each week in our office in Carmel, IN.  The internship will commence in early to mid-May and will finish in mid to late August, depending on your school schedule.  You must provide for your own housing.
