Position at CMI Media Group

The VP, Product Strategy is responsible for leadership, strategic evolution, management of external SaaS patnerships, data and media supply partnerships, product marketing, and use case development for CMI Media Group’s suite of proprietary and managed MarTech and AdTech products.  The Vice President oversees all facets of our collective operating system across Healthcare Professional and Consumer audiences, which includes insights, planning, activation, and measurement functionality. In addition the Vice President, Product Strategy has supervisory authority of all Managers and Directors who support the VP. They ensure that all data and technology services and deliverables meet and exceed the needs of CMI and Compas clients, working regularly across internal and external stakeholders to keep abreast of trends in the marketplace, find areas of opportunity, then work within the agile development structure to bring continuous product enhancement to fruition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for product strategy related the growth of existing platforms and identifying opportunities, along with other key stakeholders, for novel tools, modules, services, and/or features
    • Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify needs and key use cases for development of new capabilities in the operating system
    • Closely monitor industry-wide trends in customer-centric marketing and adtech concepts and ensure product roadmaps are attuned to emerging capabilities that will change the way media insights, planning, and activation is done
    • Identify market opportunities and define product vision and strategy through collaboration with the Product Management team on product roadmaps and milestones
    • Evangelize the offering internally and externally
    • Use market research, focus groups, and other scientific techniques to understand user flows, pain points, and unmet needs
    • Engage closely with the product development and product management teams to aligin on implementation and phasing of continuous improvements
    • Collaborate with the UI/UX lead on overall experience of platforms
    • Interface with clients and other users to solicit feedback and opportunities for advancement
    • Work closely with internal training CoE on the development of internal and external training modules and user guides
    • Work closely with PR and Marketing departments on white papers, POVs, promotional materials, and press releases
  • REQUIREMENTS

    • 10+ years of experience working with leading martech and adtech technology both as a leader and subject matter expert
    • 5-7 years of Supervisory experience in agency, martech, and/or adtech role
    • Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent
    • Must have a background in technical side of media planning and activation as well as experience with audience-centric media philosophies
    • Experience working with or servicing pharmaceutical and other life sciences companies preferred
    • Excellent written and communication skills
    • Entrepeneurial orientation and spirit
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to a changing environment
    • Self-Motivated
