POSITION OVERVIEW: The Partnership Growth and Marketing Manager supports and scales the Joint Venture (JV) channel by driving growth through strategic onboarding, recruiting support, marketing initiatives, and retention efforts. This is a highly cross-functional role that partners closely with JV leaders and internal teams to improve capture rate, increase production, and enhance the overall partner and loan officer experience.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES, include the following responsibilities, but not limited to:

 

  • Lead Partner directly with JV leaders to identify and execute growth opportunities across each joint venture.
  • Drive initiatives that improve capture rate, production, and overall JV performance.
  • Analyze performance gaps and implement strategies to increase volume and retention.
  • Lead onboarding strategy for new loan officers and JV partners.
  • Develop and refine onboarding processes to accelerate productivity and integration.
  • Support recruiting efforts by effectively positioning the value of the JV platform.
  • Partner with leadership to identify, attract, and engage top talent.
  • Monitor loan officer satisfaction and proactively address retention risks.
  • Identify and implement marketing opportunities that drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing teams to execute campaigns while owning overall strategy and results.
  • Introduce creative, scalable ideas to expand JV growth beyond standard practices.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to JV leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure alignment between growth strategies and execution.
  • Support and align event strategy, local market presence, and sourcing initiatives to drive engagement and production.
  • Complete other duties and/or projects as assigned.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

 

          5+ years of experience in marketing, partnerships, business development, or a related growth-focused role.

          Experience within mortgage, financial services, or a JV/partnership-driven environment preferred.

          Proven track record of driving growth initiatives and improving performance metrics.

          Experience working cross-functionally with sales, recruiting, and leadership teams.

          Strong understanding of onboarding, retention, and lifecycle strategies.

          Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

          Experience using data and insights to inform strategy and decision-making preferred.

          Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking performance and analyzing data.

          Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Surefire, or similar systems.

          Familiarity with project management tools such as Wrike or comparable platforms.

          Experience with Canva or similar tools for light marketing execution.

          Comfort with email marketing platforms and campaign management.

          Ability to manage and update content within internal platforms (e.g., CMG Life intranet) to support communication and visibility.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct Reports N/A

PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

This role operates in an ADA compliant office environment, utilizing typical office equipment and tasks including computer work. The position may involve partial stationary positions and moving throughout the day. Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines is required.

 

Base Compensation Information – For residents of the states of CA & CO, and for NY + other areas requiring disclosure:

CMG pays a competitive salary which ranges from $80,000 - $95,000. Factors that affect salary may include previous Mortgage experience, number of years worked in the mortgage industry, types of roles performed, computer skills, customer service experience specific to working with mortgage lenders, and education.
