Shamrock/CMG Home Loans is looking for a motivated, bilingual Spanish/English Loan Officer Assistant to join our East Providence team and work alongside a high-producing Loan Officer.

No mortgage experience? That’s okay.

We’re willing to train the right person. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate, early-career professional, or someone with experience in customer service, banking, financial services, real estate, or sales who wants to build a career in the mortgage industry.

You’ll receive industry training while gaining hands-on experience working directly with customers and learning the mortgage process from application through closing.

Compensation: $22.00–$24.00 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus compensation.

Location: East Providence, Rhode Island

Schedule: Full-time, on-site during training. Once fully trained, there may be an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule with one to two days per week from home, based on performance and business needs.

Language Requirement: Bilingual Spanish/English

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Loan Officer Assistant, you’ll help support customers and the Loan Officer throughout the home financing process. Your responsibilities will include:

• Communicating with English- and Spanish-speaking customers and providing friendly, responsive service.
• Supporting the Loan Officer throughout the mortgage application and loan process.
• Collecting and reviewing customer documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Helping customers understand documentation requests and next steps.
• Requesting disclosures and assisting with required loan documentation.
• Ordering appraisals, title reports, and other third-party services.
• Preparing loan documentation for submission to Processing.
• Following up with customers and internal teams regarding outstanding items.
• Helping gather documentation needed to satisfy loan conditions.
• Monitoring loan milestones and helping keep loans on track for closing.
• Working closely with Loan Officers, Processors, Underwriters, Closers, and other mortgage professionals.
• Helping provide customers with a positive experience throughout the mortgage process.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• Must be able to work full-time on-site in East Providence during training.
• No previous mortgage experience required—we will train the right candidate.
• Recent college graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
• Customer service, banking, financial services, real estate, sales, or administrative experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable working directly with customers.
• Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable learning new technology and business processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Interest in developing a career in mortgage lending, financial services, or sales.
