CMG Financial has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Manager to work at our corporate office in San Ramon, CA. They provide accounts payable management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts, assisting in the monthly close, reconciles accounts and oversees Accounts Payable.

This position requires the manager to work onsite everyday at the San Ramon, CA corporate office. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES, include the following responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions, and completes corresponding reconciliations.
• Assists in the month end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes relating to Accounts Payable.
• Prepares tax payment schedules and works on annual audit.
• Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in accounts payable transactions.
• Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes.
• Analyze monthly vendor trend to ensure all transactions are captured for month-end close.
• Mentor and train staff to ensure professional growth and adherence to internal policies.
• Administration and ongoing monitoring of Concur system.
• Help with implementation of new software systems, as needed.
• Special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.

• 5-7 years management experience, preferably in Mortgage Banking industry
• Proficient in Microsoft suite of product; Outlook, Word, PowerPoint with Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced fluid environment.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality required.
• FloQast, and Sage Intacct, Concur and Yardi experience preferred. 
• BYTE Software (Loan Origination System) experience preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Direct Reports: Accounts Payable Coordinators and Accounts Payable Specialists.

PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

This role operates in an ADA compliant office environment, utilizing typical office equipment and tasks including computer work. The position may involve partial stationary positions and moving throughout the day. Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines is required.

CMG pays a competitive salary which ranges from $85,000 to $125,000. Factors that affect salary may include: Accounts Payable experience, management experience, knowledge of mortgage industry, computer skills, customer service experience, and education.
