POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Escrow Management Analyst completes escrow analysis, assesses interest on escrow, processes escrow waivers and additions, and resolves escrow escalations in accordance with regulatory requirements. They ensure annual escrow analysis, borrower refunds, and assessment of interest on escrow are processed accurately and timely. This person is an industry expert who must have significant experience, knowledge, and understanding of escrow account management. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and collaborating with other departments to deliver exceptional service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES, includes not limited to:
- Completes the annual escrow analysis process, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of scheduled escrow account analysis in accordance with state and federal regulations and investor requirements.
- Reviews and completes escrow analysis for all non-escrow loans with escrow advances.
- Processes escrow account waivers and additions, as applicable.
- Assesses interest on escrow to applicable escrow accounts per state guidelines.
- Monitors and completes research to resolve consumer, investor, and internal inquiries.
- Accurately documents systems with comprehensive status updates.
- Manages daily task work queue and monthly bulk processing.
- Researches and resolves exceptions and illogical conditions.
- Collaborates with other departments to resolve cross-functional issues.
- Ensures compliance with State, Federal, Regulatory, and Investor Requirements and guidelines, maintains up-to-date knowledge of internal policies and procedures, and understands how requirement changes affect the operations.
- Works with escrow vendors & third parties utilized in the escrow administration processes.
- Meets established standards and guidelines with regard to compliance, job knowledge, quality, attendance, efficiency, initiative, and overall performance.
- Other projects and assignments as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience in escrow management processes or in other relevant mortgage servicing departments.
- Knowledge of escrow administration processes, industry standards, consumer protection laws & regulations impacting escrow operations areas.
- Ability to have a cross-functional impact across the servicing operation.
- Highly organized, reliable, and results-driven
- Ability to hustle, willingness to learn, and adapt quickly to working in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and call center equipment/software programs
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work within a team environment to foster positive work culture.

PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
This role operates in an ADA compliant office environment, utilizing typical office equipment and tasks including computer work. The position may involve partial stationary positions and moving throughout the day. Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines is required.
COMPENSATION: CMG pays a competitive hourly/salary range which ranges from $28.85/hr - $31.25/hr with no overtime ($60,000 to $65,000). Factors that affect hourly rate may include: experience and education.
