Digital Product Manager - Account Opening

OBJECTIVE
The Digital Products team is focused on driving product strategies to evolve and enhance the employee and member experience across the credit union. The Digital Product Manager – Account Opening will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy, business requirements, roadmap, and execution for online and in person account opening. This role will work closely with the member experience team, lending team, business team, and CRM product manager to gather insights and business requirements for their assigned digital products. This role will work closely with the business team to implement and operate a business account opening tool. This role will successfully manage and enhance current employee tools including, but not limited to, account opening and staff training in addition to member self-service online applications.
WORKING HOURS: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, with flexibility
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years work experience in product management or similar required; experience in digital product ownership is a plus
  • Extremely well-organized, detailed problem solver
  • Strong group presenter, providing clear and motivational presentations that align teams and compels people to action
  • Great sense of ownership and personal accountability for results
  • Superior oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to lead with influence to all levels of the organization
  • Self-motivated with good initiative
  • Flexibility in working hours
  • Ability to work independently and with all levels of credit union staff
  • Project management skills; experience in leading digital, online, and/or mobile projects is a plus
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the scheduling and improvements of all account opening products, as well as all testing and all product communications
  • Scope and prioritize features to maximize impact for our members and the long-term differentiation of the products
  • Function as the subject matter expert for other staff members regarding the products, business line functions, systems, and processes
  • Lead staff training on new or improved functionality of the product(s)
  • Develop and maintain an ambitious account opening roadmap using industry knowledge, product performance analytics, and research of employee and member feedback
  • Ability to critically analyze situations and formulate recommendations based on limited information
  • Develop and implement product plans and manage communication and engagement with key stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle; Partner with key stakeholders on implementing new services and features
  • Utilize relationships within operational departments to expedite and resolve issues efficiently
  • Foster leadership and excellent communication skills by inspiring and motivating teams to work towards a common goal
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead those projects through completion; Manage the product/project long-term
  • Ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities and multiple demands
