OBJECTIVE
Lead the strategy, development, pricing, and performance of Clearview’s consumer deposit products, with a strong focus on delivering value to members and supporting the credit union’s long-term financial strength. This role combines analytical horsepower, competitive awareness, and cross-functional leadership to grow deposit balances, enhance profitability, support liquidity needs, and ensure Clearview remains the trusted primary financial institution for its members.
 
The Deposit Product Manager partners closely with Finance, Marketing, Digital, Member Experience, IT, and Compliance to execute product strategy, develop high-impact promotions, and ensure Clearview’s deposit offerings are competitive, compliant, and aligned with member expectations.
 
WORKING HOURS
8:30-5:00, M-F 
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management or portfolio management in financial services
  • Proven success working with deposit pricing, product profitability, or consumer financial products.
  • Analytical proficiency with strong comfort in data interpretation, segmentation, and forecasting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to influence across teams without formal authority.
  • Familiarity with deposit regulations, disclosure requirements, and compliance considerations.
  • Experience collaborating with Finance and Marketing on product initiatives, pricing, and promotions.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
 
Product Strategy & Portfolio Leadership - 35%
  • Execute the strategic direction for the consumer deposit portfolio, ensuring products remain competitive and aligned with member needs.
  • Maintain a forward-looking roadmap for enhancements, new offerings, and modernization initiatives.
  • Assess market trends, competitor movements, rate shifts, and member behavior to identify opportunities or vulnerabilities.
  • Translate research and insights into actionable proposals for product changes, new features, or pricing adjustments.
  • Ensure deposit products support Clearview’s liquidity, growth, and member-relationship goals.
 
Pricing, Performance Analysis & ALCO Support - 25%
  • Partner with Finance to design, evaluate, and recommend deposit pricing strategies rooted in margin management, competitive positioning, and member value.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations for ALCO, including rate sensitivity, deposit mix shifts, profitability, concentration risk, and scenario impacts.
  • Conduct recurring and ad-hoc analytics on product performance, funnel metrics, retention patterns, and segment behavior.
  • Monitor profitability across deposit products; develop tactics when performance deviates from plan.
 
Promotions, Offers & Marketing Partnership - 20%
  • Lead the strategy and roadmap for deposit promotions, ensuring offer design aligns with financial targets, growth priorities, and member value.
  • Define offer structures, incentives, qualification criteria, and expected outcomes, grounding decisions in data, operational feasibility, and competitive insights.
  • Partner with Marketing to shape targeting, positioning, messaging, and multi-channel execution, ensuring product content is accurate, compliant, and member-ready.
  • Coordinate promotion timing, operational setup, and launch readiness across cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and consistent member experiences.
  • Measure performance—lift, ROI, CPA, efficiency, and member behavior—and provide insights that refine future promotions and strengthen acquisition and engagement strategies.
 
Compliance, Documentation & Operational Readiness - 15%
  • Ensure deposit offerings meet regulatory standards related to pricing, disclosures, advertising, and product features at launch and on an ongoing basis as changes occur.
  • Partner with Compliance and Legal to review new initiatives, product changes, and updates throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Develop, maintain, and update internal documentation, product guides, and training materials for Retail, Contact Center, and Digital channels.
  • Ensure operational and frontline teams are prepared for product launches, promotions, pricing updates, and ongoing product changes.
  • Partner with the Sales Department to ensure employee incentives, lead programs, and sales performance align with product strategy and growth goals.
 
Other Duties as Assigned - 5%
  • Support organizational initiatives and represent the Product Strategy team on cross-functional projects.
