About the Job
The Regional Distribution Manager develops and implements market access strategies and plans to grow market share through Certified OTTO Dealers. You will establish relationships with dealers at all levels of their organization to ensure efficient use of resources to grow the business and ensure agreement. You will coach and challenge our dealers to evolve by developing their value-added services business and increasing Annual Revenue growth through increased market share. Reporting to the Global Director of Distribution, you will be responsible for our dealer partners in the _(west coast/mid-atlantic) markets. When not on a partner site, this is a remote-friendly position.
Your Responsibilities:
- Creates business strategies to grow overall sales and market share through distribution
- Coordinate activities and resource use within the sales organization
- Take an active role in coaching dealers to evolve their value-added services business and increasing Annual Recurring Revenue
- Implement and measure all OTTO Motors market access commercial programs
- Be the single contact for each assigned dealer
- Manage the development of assigned dealers and their performance.
- Resolve market access issues resulting in conflict (i.e. APR violations, etc.)
- Measure dealer performance and implement performance improvement programs.
- Help implement new product launches and promotional programs through the direction of all market access resources, including the dealer's personnel.
- Take an active role in coaching dealer’s personnel and evaluating their competency in the support of OTTO Motors products and services.
- Assure that we have a high level of dealer capability to serve all customers in the assigned territory.
- Ensure familiarity with company procedures. Apply procedures in compliance with government laws. Procedures include: Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations (e.g. health, safety, quality and environmental).
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of time.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Typically requires 5 year’s experience in sales, industrial distribution, material handling distribution, systems integration or an engineering firm
- Experience selling services and/or Software (contractual and transactional) to manufacturing companies (headquarter locations and plants)
