Description
- Applying IAVAs and other updates
- Support laptop builds for mission operations
- Provide administrative support for Splunk Cluster
- VM build and support
- Centos administration
- Some possible Windows Administration
- Work with developers and operators to define requirements and design solutions
- Knowledge of network engineering but position is limited in scope when it comes to networking engineering support required
- Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience or Master's degree in plus 3 years of relevant experience. An Associate's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position
- Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
- Familiarity with Nutanix
- Familiarity with Splunk, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, Airflow, GitLab, Jira.
- Experience supporting hardware installation, supporting servers, desktops, network infrastructure.
- Experience setting up storage such as network-attached storage or remote storage.
- Experience implementing security best practices.
- Familiarity with maintaining inventory of infrastructure hardware.
