Cyber Application Engineer (CR)

Responsibilities:
Participate in the design of upcoming features and their development through the agile lifecycle
Give and receive feedback on feature designs, code, test plans
Work with your team to build new features for the cybersecurity API portfolio
Work with the product team to divide up work into tasks and complete those tasks
Work with DevOps engineers to build infrastructure as code templates using Terraform.
Develop Golang/Python API functions to be deployed on AWS Lambda serverless
Communicate proactively and clearly about the state of work. Candidate is expected to have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable with virtual meetings (Zoom, Teams, etc…)
What You Bring To The Team:
5+ years of experience developing software products
3+ years of programming experience in Golang or Python
Knowledge of DevSecOps and agile development paradigms
Demonstrated experience reviewing code, problem solving and technical troubleshooting
Knowledge of AWS Cloud Environments and building cloud-native applications preferred
Experience working with core AWS services: Lambda, SQS, IAM, DynamoDB, S3 preferred
Experience with large-scale system designs and architecture preferred.
Nice to have – Experience building and managing enterprise-scale cloud-based API’s
Nice to have – Experience with asynchronous API and async I/O operations
Nice to have – Experience with AWS CloudWatch monitoring, log aggregation & triage.
