Description: You will be supporting CNO's Emerging Open Source Activities (EOSA) branch in their mission to integrate publicly available information (PAI) and open source technologies into CNO. Fifty percent or more of your time will be providing Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems with customer user-facing web application, working directly with users to support their SIGDEV efforts, and the triage and resolution of common user issues. Additionally, you’ll support the DevOps team in implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of production Linux systems. Manage system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, etc. Configure and manage Linux operating systems and install/load operating system software, and troubleshoot, to maintain STE compliance in an approved SSP. This mission requires smart, flexible individuals capable of working in both classified and unclassified environments to understand and achieve mission outcomes.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor system health and metrics through tools such as Metricbeat, Filebeat, and Kibana.
  • Resolve operational failures for various software systems.
  • Reliability and capacity planning for services and applications.
  • Maintain up to date systems engineering documentation
  • Maintain system certification and support reaccreditation.
  • OS deploy/config/continuous monitoring.
  • Hardware fault isolation and remediation.
  • STE compliance as required, including on-demand Nessus scans.
  • Application update deployment and light configuration.
  • Manage PKI certificates, renewing and installing as needed.
Skills Requirements:
  • Linux
  • Ansible or similar infrastructure automation tool
  • Git or similar version control tool
Nice to Haves:
  • CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins), Junit testing or similar
  • DevOps experience
  • Containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Scripting with bash or Python
  • Database administration.

YOE Requirement: 0 yrs., B.S.in a technical discipline or 4 additional yrs. in place of B.S. (Degree must be in Computer Science or equivalent field.)

Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph
