Description:
• Experience in Network Information Service and UNIX/LINUX operating systems, including RedHat or CentOs
• Experience with developing and implementing system configuration scripts in Python, Perl, Java, ksh, csh, Bourne or Bash
• Experience with C++
• Experience with providing support to IT systems, including day-to day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution of all of client, server, storage, and network devices
• Experience with applying Operating System patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities
• Experience drafting and updating technical requirements, engineering documents, configuration documents, training manuals, and troubleshooting processes
• Knowledge of systems and network security, auditing, and user authentication
• Bachelor’s degree and 14+ years of experience with systems engineering or 19+ years of experience with systems engineering in lieu of a degree
