User Experience (UX) Designer
Description:
We are seeking a talented and creative UX Design Intern to join our dynamic team. As a UX design Intern, you will design and enhance user experiences across our digital products. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with real-world design challenges, working alongside our experienced UX/UI team. Through this internship, you will learn core UX/UI principles, from user research to design execution and receive mentorship from our Practice Leads.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct user research and participate in feedback sessions to gain insights into user behavior, pain points, and expectations.
  • Assist in synthesizing research data into insights that inform design decisions grounded in user needs and priorities, guiding the team toward solutions that effectively meet end-user needs. 
  • Learn basic methods for turning user feedback into valuable product information.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design ideas and help visualize solutions that make users' interactions with products intuitive, ensuring a smoother and more satisfying experience. 
  • Develop low- and high-fidelity prototyping skills using tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design user interfaces that are visually engaging and easy to navigate. By developing aesthetically pleasing and functional solutions, you’ll contribute to creating products that align with user goals and improve usability.
  • Learn and apply common visual design elements, patterns, and principles in UI design.
  • Learn how to apply Lean UX principles to define Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) that prioritize user needs while minimizing risks.
  • Gain experience in Agile methodologies and product risk identification.
  • Work with designers, developers, and stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions that meet business goals and user needs.
  • Participate in team discussions and retrospectives, learning how to give and receive feedback effectively.

Minimum Experience Requirements: 
  • Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or Sketch
  • Basic knowledge of creating flow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and visual comps
  • Interest in early-stage design, ideation techniques, and user research methods
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; willingness to participate in team discussions
  • A growing understanding of Agile software development and Lean UX methodologies
  • A portfolio or sample projects demonstrating your interest in UX/UI design
