Position Overview
The Operation Specialist is responsible for safely operating a Reach Truck/Order Picker or Counter Balance to perform responsibilities within the warehouse operations.
Position Responsibilities
- Perform Reach /Order Picker or Clamp responsibilities
- Work closely with shift management and leads to accomplishing shift goals.
- Load, unload, pick, put-away, consolidate, stack and stage products and materials using both a Reach /Order Picker or Forklift or on hand
- Assists with physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Reconcile inbounds with packing slips
- Familiar with handling tires
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications - Required
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent required
- Experience in logistics/ distribution center is an asset
- Knowledgeable of RF systems in a logistics environment
- Basic math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork
- Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions
- Experience in leading a team is a plus
