- Salary: Your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. We anticipate this role to pay a base salary between $103,000 - $110,000 per year, but actual base pay will depend on the successful candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
- Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule to support deadlines or cross-functional collaboration; typically your schedule will be 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
What You'll Do:
- Financial Planning & Modeling: Lead comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes; build complex financial models and variance reports for key accounts to support executive stakeholders.
- Template Optimization & Governance: Own the governance, optimization, and accuracy of budget and forecast templates across warehousing, transportation, and freight forwarding business lines.
- Business Reviews & Variance Analysis: Participate in monthly business reviews and conduct rigorous variance analyses comparing actual financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and historical baselines.
- Operational Finance Partnership: Serve as a financial business partner to facility operators, coaching site leaders on cost controls and helping build business cases for continuous improvement projects.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, accounting, and business unit finance teams to understand cost drivers, business structures, and operational logistics trends.
- Strategic Issue Escalation: Proactively identify financial issues, recommend performance-enhancing strategies, and present findings to leadership.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; an MBA is preferred.
- Experience: 6–9+ years of progressive financial planning & analysis (FP&A) experience, including deep involvement in budgeting processes.
- Operational & Industry Knowledge: Direct experience working alongside operations teams; logistics/supply chain industry experience is a major plus.
- Technical Mastery: Advanced understanding and proven use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and AI tools (Gemini/Claude). SAP experience is preferred.
- Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in Korean is preferred.
- Soft Skills & Mindset: Excellent communication and presentation skills (experience presenting to senior leadership is a plus), creative problem-solving ability, and a collaborative, cross-functional approach.
