Position Overview

The Blue Yonder Implementation Trainer is responsible for the delivery of training for new implementations. They will collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and facilitate training that prepares warehouse operations to be successful in their roles with the new implementation. 

 Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Learning & Development team to create and maintain consistent training
  • Align with the training team on content and messaging
  • Develop, deliver, and facilitate workshops, e-learning, virtual and other learning solutions on behalf of the training function
  • Coordinate with operations teams on planning, delivery, and issue resolution of training
  • Provide on-site support at the time of go live including troubleshooting and on the job training of forklift operators, workflow coordinators, and management
  • Educate the operations on the flow and functionality of the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Additional duties as assigned

 Experience & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Learning and development or relevant field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Training or Management role
  • Minimum of one year of experience with a WMS application
  • Ability to travel 60-75%; dependent on project location
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong presentation skills both in person and virtual with demonstrated ability to connect with varying audience groups and levels
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Smartsheet, etc.
  • Experience successfully managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • 3+ years of warehouse operations experience preferred

This job requires the ability to:

  • Stand and walk in a warehouse environment that is not climate-controlled for hours at a time
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends when traveling
