Job Description : The Report Analyst will be responsible for delivering performance oriented Dashboards, Reports and Analytics solutions as part of our growing Business Intelligence organization. This position will have a broad set of analytics, database and data warehouse development skills coupled with development experience in technologies like Oracle Analytics Cloud, Tableau or Power BI. This position plays a significant role in the architecture, delivery, maintenance and long-term growth of an emerging and innovative analytics capability.

Salary range: $86,010 -  $101,662.

 

Responsibilities

        Extensive, hands-on, end to end development and deployment experience of reporting solutions including data visualizations, dashboards, reports and repository development

        Strategize and plan technical design for complex BI/Reporting solutions and socialize them with the business stakeholders, product owner and other technical groups

        Data analysis on potential source systems including data profiling

        Analyze data across multiple sources to design and document logical and physical data models, and assist with maintaining the Enterprise Data Warehouse Data Model

        Analyze, tune and optimize dashboards, reports, database stored procedures

        Solid understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) tools, Data Warehouse (DW), Data Modelling concepts and SQL/PLSQL

        Review and improve existing systems and collaborate with teams to integrate new systems

        Conduct unit tests, develop database queries to analyze effects and troubleshoot issues

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or other related field

At least 5 years of experience designing, developing, implementing reports and dashboards in Oracle Analytics Cloud, Cognos, Tableau or Power BI

At least 5 years hands-on full life cycle software development experience (preferably data analytics and reporting related )

Strongly preferred to have 3+ years hands-on end-to-end implementation experience using OAC/OBIEE for data visualizations, reports authoring, dashboard development, data querying

Strongly preferred to have experience using OAC to create queries, format views, charts, and add user interactivity and dynamic content to enhance the user experience

Strongly preferred to have experience designing customized interactive dashboards and reports in OBIEE/OAC using drill down, dimensional hierarchies, aggregation, guided navigation, prompts, filters, and variables

Experience configuring security (Authentication and Authorization - Object level and Data level security) , identity federation, and single sign-on  

Highly analytical and strong critical thinker

Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills, attention to details and multi-tasking abilities
