- Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule, typically schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM PST
What You'll Do
- Be a P&L Owner: Take full ownership of all business activities, including sales and operations, with complete P&L responsibility. You'll define key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive the business to optimize along those metrics.
- Lead a High-Performing Team: Build, lead, and mentor a results-oriented team, creating a culture where employees love to work. You'll set goals, evaluate progress, and help your team achieve both individual and company goals.
- Ensure Compliance: Act as the ultimate authority on customs compliance, providing guidance to both clients and staff. You'll maintain the company's licenses, permits, and bonds while staying up-to-date on all regulatory changes to protect the business and our clients.
- Drive Growth and Efficiency: Develop a strategic plan to expand customs brokerage services and identify new client markets. You'll also implement a continuous improvement strategy to ensure ongoing gains in quality and efficiency.
What You'll Bring
- An active Customs Broker license is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of management experience in a Customs Brokerage office.
- Deep expertise in PGA processes (especially FDA, APHIS, F&W, EPA, DOT) and experience with post-summary corrections, protests, and petitions for mitigation.
- Solid knowledge of all regulatory aspects of importing and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
