Senior Integration Business Analyst

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Integration Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration across multiple systems and platforms. The Senior Integration Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to understand business processes, gather and document requirements, and support the design and implementation of system integrations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering &Analysis:
- Lead the process of collecting, documenting, and analyzing business requirements from various stakeholders (business units, project managers, IT teams, and external partners).
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories for integration systems and solutions.
- Analyze existing business processes and systems to identify integration opportunities and areas for improvement.
Integration Strategy & Solution Design:
- Collaborate with technical teams to define and design integration solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Provide expertise in integration architecture and best practices.
- Create use cases, process flows, and other documentation to support solution development.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and expectations.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure timely delivery of integration projects.
Integration Testing & Validation:
- Develop detailed test plans, scenarios, and scripts to validate system integrations.
- Oversee the execution of integration tests, ensuring functionality, performance, and security requirements are met.
- Work with Quality Assurance (QA) teams to ensure the quality of integration solutions.
Project Support & Delivery:
- Assist with project management activities, ensuring that integration projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Track progress and deliverables, escalating issues and risks as necessary to senior management.
- Contribute to post-deployment activities, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain up-to-date and detailed documentation on integration solutions, including technical and functional specifications, test results, and user guides.
- Produce regular status reports for stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues.
Continuous Improvement & Mentorship:
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in system integration and business analysis.
- Mentor junior business analysts, providing guidance on best practices, methodologies, and tools.
Perform other related job duties as required, within the scope of training and expertise.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, with at least 3 years focused on integration projects.
- Proven experience in integrating systems and applications across various platforms.
- Strong experience with integration tools and technologies (e.g., ESB, API management, middleware, cloud platforms, or SaaS integrations).
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience in data mapping, transformation, and integration testing.
- Proficient in using business analysis and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, or similar tools).
- Knowledge of integration standards, API protocols (REST, SOAP), and data formats (XML, JSON).
- Experience with cloud-based integration platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Integration certifications (e.g., Boomi, Mulesoft, Informatica) are a plus.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and other enterprise applications preferred.
- Hybrid work environment with flexibility for remote work.
- Ability to travel 10%, as needed.
