SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY: 

The Ocean Import Coordinator is primarily responsible for operationally filing entry documents, tracking and updating the movement of ocean freight, and ensuring compliance with import and export clearance regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • ∙Excellent listening and analytical skills 
  • ∙Ability to prioritize, multitask, organize, and manage time effectively 
  • ∙Previous experiences in logistics and cargo management
  • Supply chain, customer service, dispatcher, warehouse and logistics specialist,
  • Administrative assistant, data entry, transportation, and logistics analyst are preferred
