- Reviews leases and other real estate agreements; identifies risks
- Works with Finance to ensure payments are consistent with lease obligations.
- Drafts, reviews and negotiates a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer contracts, vendor contracts, and consulting agreements.
Required Qualifications
- Law Degree
- Admission to the Illinois Bar
- General corporate law experience required
- Prior experience with employment law (especially relating to hourly workers) required
- 4-8 years of experience in a law firm and/or corporate legal department
- Knowledge of the Supply Chain / Logistics business and/or international company exposure is strongly preferred
Physical Requirements
- Sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk while working on a computer
- Use hands and fingers to operate a keyboard, mouse, and telephone
- Speak and hear clearly in person, virtually, and over the phone
- Occasionally stand, walk, reach, stoop, or lift up to 10 pounds
Pay, Benefits and More:
- Salary: Your bas e pay is one part of your total compensation package. We anticipate this role to pay a minimum base salary of $165,000, but actual base pay will depend on the successful candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience
