- Deal directly with customers/brokers by telephone or electronically.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
- Process orders, invoices and other documents associated with order fulfillment.
- General data entry.
- Assist with appointment and delivery issues.
- Communicate product availability and delivery issues with customers.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments.
- General clerical duties such as filing.
- Other duties, as business needs change.
- Customer service / order desk background preferred
- Food / retail industry experience valuable
- EDI experience desirable, but not required
- Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
- Detail-oriented, organized, team player, flexible and adaptable to change
- Must have excellent communication skills
